Missoula County supports HB 49, Revise recording fees to support county and state land information accounts, up for hearing today in the House Local Government Committee.
HB 49 would provide Missoula County’s GIS department additional funding directly through document fees and would provide more opportunities for grant funding through the Montana Land Information Act funding pool each year. This could help support our ever-growing array of mapping services and infrastructure that our GIS department provides.
