The Friends of the Historical Museum at Fort Missoula group has been included in HB 9 for $4,000 for restoration of the Willamette Locomotive. Plans are to have the locomotive restored and operating by its 100th anniversary in 2023. This locomotive is a Missoula icon and represents the instrumental impact logging had on our county’s economic development.
