Missoula County opposes HB 106, Prohibit expansion of the Montana clean indoor act, up for hearing this afternoon in the House Local Government Committee.
HB 106 would limit the abilities of cities and counties to use public input to make local decisions and shape our communities. Local governments must be able to respond to concerns from parents, educators and businesses, to make decisions that keep our communities safe. HB 106 would not only prevent this local decision-making moving forward, but it would also overturn local clean air policies already in place.
