    Representative Whitman,

Missoula County supports HB 141, Generally revising vehicle and vessel title transfer laws, up for hearing at 3 p.m. today, in the House Transportation Committee.

HB 141 creates a corollary to a beneficiary deed, but for a motor vehicle. Beneficiary deeds have worked well for real property, so HB 141 could be a potential benefit to Missoulians in being able to transfer a car title outside of probate.

    Please support HB 141.
