Missoula County supports HJ 12: Resolution that white supremacist neo-nazi violence is domestic terrorism, up for hearing tomorrow morning in the House Judiciary Committee.
Communities nationally and in Missoula County are adversely impacted directly and indirectly by white nationalist, white supremacist and neo-nazi organization, activity and violence.
These groups frequently recruit economically disadvantaged youth in rural communities, similar to many areas in Missoula County. HJ 12 will be one tool Missoula County can use help protect our youth from these indefensible pressures.
HJ 12 will help Missoula County protect our residents by providing access to federal support. This federal support will assist in investigations and the prosecution of these organizations, and their members, who have no place in our Missoula County communities.
