SB 169

 LC1329

Mike Cuffe (R) SD 1

Generally revise voter ID laws

Comments

  1. Senator Bennett,

Missoula County opposes SB 169: Generally revise voter ID laws up for hearing this afternoon in the Senate State Administration Committee. It is rare that the Election’s Office would need to work with a voter who would not have one of the first four IDs provided; however, asking a voter who does not have one of those four forms of ID may be a burden for some voters. Missoula County already has a process at the polls for a voter to challenge another voter if they do not believe that person is eligible. Missoula County does not believe that this change in voter ID laws is necessary to prevent fraud.

    Please oppose SB 169.
