Missoula County generally supports HB 632: Implement receipt of and appropriate federal stimulus and COVID recovery funds, up for second reading today on the House floor. We do however request local government funding not be restricted based on county health mandates. As we have seen this last year, each county is impacted by the pandemic differently. Local governments must have the ability to make public health decisions that best reflect the needs of their communities.
