Missoula County supports SB 15: Revise election laws related to accessibility for disabled electors, up for hearing this afternoon in the Senate State Administration Committee. The bill’s sponsor, Senator Ellis, was very responsive and added Missoula County’s proposed amendments, clarifying areas and elections where ADA equipment needs to be located, as well as adding a provision which would allow voters to receive ballots at these places of deposit. If passed, this bill would provide additional access to voting places for members of the ADA community.
